WEST PALM BEACH — They’re building a huge wall and you’re going to want to pay for it.
That’s the word from Sean Scott, co-owner of Subculture Coffee on Clematis Street.
Scott and business partners Jerris Gay and Tyler Henneman are asking the city commission next week to let them turn the west side of the Clematis Street parking garage into a 50-foot-high, 100-foot-long “urban climbing wall” in the alley next to the cafe at 509 Clematis. The plan is to cover the wall with panels that have multi-colored hand and foot grips for climbing, going all the way up to just 10 feet short of the roof.
