Then there’s the INIT Gathering, an event scheduled for May 19-20 in West Palm Beach. Organizer Sean Scott calls the confab an “unconference,” with sessions designed to appeal to anyone and everyone.

Scott — who runs the popular Clematis Street coffee shop Subculture and is considering a run for mayor — touts the weekend event as “a gathering of dreamers, doers and storytellers.”

“Our speakers are shifting the paradigm in their fields,” Scott said.

Each day starts with a 7 a.m. yoga session, followed by discussions at Grandview Public Market and Culture Lab, the exhibition space at the former Macy’s at CityPlace. The registration fee is $99.
