The best thing about Dada is the atmosphere. Inside or outside, you are bound to enjoy your surroundings. Outside, take a seat on rustic patio furniture or sit around the trunk of a large tree, all with candles on the tables and underneath twinkle lights. Inside feels like cabin up north, with hardwood floors, a fireplace and dim lighting.
We tried the Dada Dates ($13) and braised short rib ($23.50). The menu items are pricey, but the food is rich enough to share and be satisfied. The bacon-wrapped Medjool dates with goat cheese, chorizo and tomato confit were delicious. After all, how can you go wrong wrapping anything in bacon? The bacon mixed with the date was sweet and savory, with a hint of creaminess from the cheese. The braised short rib came out very quickly, was larger than expected and came with mashed potatoes and string beans.
